Strangelovely, indeed. In the space of 24 hours, AHIP got slapped bad twice. You’ve got to believe the conference calls today between the Big Medicine stakeholders and lobbyists were so heated the insulation covering the lines was starting to smoke. Maybe cell phones were melting like overheated chocolate bars. Who knows? One thing is for sure: They ain’t happy, and I’m willing to guess they aren’t going to play well with others because of this. If I was a member of congress, I don’t think I’d even go into the office tomorrow, unless I could sneak in through a secret entrance, to avoid the Big Medicine lobbyists pounding on my office door.

Your post was very entertaining. Why are we worried about blowing the present system up. Doesn’t demolition have it’s place? It’s expensive too. They’ll do it for free? This whole thing is very “Dr Stargelovely”. I hope it ends the same way.
